01Fresh roast
Check the roast date on the bag — the sweet spot is 4 days to 6 weeks. Fuga coffees arrive at your door within this window.
02Grinding
Ideally grind right before brewing. No grinder? No problem — pick your method at checkout and we'll grind it for you.
03Water
98% of the cup is water. Use fresh, soft, chlorine-free water; prefer bottled over hard tap water.

What You Need
V60 dripper (01 or 02)
V60 paper filter — same size as the dripper
Kettle — gooseneck ideal
Scale (0.1 g precision recommended)
Serving carafe or large cup
16 g coffee · 250 ml water

Prep — before you start brewing
1Boil the water and let it rest 30–45 seconds — target 92–96°C. No thermometer needed.
2Grind the coffee fine-medium (table salt); if you chose the "V60" grind at checkout, it is ready to go.
3Fold the filter seam and set it in the dripper, then rinse well with hot water — this removes the paper taste and warms the gear.
4Discard the rinse water, add the coffee to the filter, tap gently to level the bed, and zero the scale.
Tip: Water decides clarity more than anything — if your tap water is hard, use bottled. If the drawdown runs past 3:15, grind a touch coarser.
