Moka Pot varieties. Bialetti, Hario and more. Italian-style espresso brewing. Fuga Coffee.
Options include 1 cup (60 ml), 3 cups (200 ml), 6 cups (300 ml), or 12 cups (600 ml). A Moka Pot must always be used at full capacity since half-filling prevents proper brewing. For daily use, choose 3 cups for 1-2 people or 6 cups for a family.
A Moka Pot brews under pressure (1.5-2 bar), producing an intense, strong coffee. A French Press uses immersion, yielding a full-bodied, creamy cup. Choose a Moka Pot if you want espresso-like intensity, or a French Press if you prefer a rich, full body.
Classic aluminum Moka Pots do not work on induction stovetops. You need a stainless steel Moka Pot (such as Bialetti Venus or Bialetti Kitty) or an induction adapter. When purchasing, check the packaging for an induction compatibility symbol.
