• 240-300 ml steamed milk

Flat White

History

The origin of the flat white is debated — both Australia and New Zealand claim it. It emerged in the 1980s and spread globally in the 2000s. It gained worldwide recognition when Starbucks added it to their menu in 2015.

• 2 shots espresso / doppio (60 ml)
• 150-180 ml microfoam milk
• Very thin, velvety foam on top (1-2 mm)
• Usually served in a small ceramic cup
