The ideal water temperature for V60 is 92-96 degrees Celsius (198-205 F). Use 94-96 degrees for light roasts and 90-92 degrees for dark roasts. A gooseneck kettle with a temperature display is highly recommended for precision.
A single-cup V60 brew (250 ml) should take a total of 2:30-3:00 minutes, including a 30-second bloom followed by slow, circular pours. If it takes longer than 3 minutes, grind coarser; if under 2 minutes, grind finer.
1 KG of V60 coffee yields approximately 60-67 cups (250 ml each), using 15 grams per cup. With 2 cups a day, it lasts about one month.
1 kilogram of V60 coffee is a medium-fine specialty grind calibrated specifically for the Hario V60 dripper. Designed for daily pour-over enthusiasts who want an economical bulk supply, it delivers the clean, bright and aromatic profile that defines specialty pour-over.
A V60 brew uses approximately 15-18 grams of coffee per 250 ml cup. One kilogram therefore yields around 55-65 cups — roughly a month's supply for someone brewing twice a day.
The 1 kg V60-ground bag is ideal for committed pour-over fans who have not invested in a grinder. However, V60 grind is one of the more delicate sizes — medium-fine, approaching table-salt fineness — which means it is more susceptible to aroma loss than coarser grinds. Extra attention to airtight storage is essential with this format.
At Fuga Coffee, we grind every V60 order on the spot and package it immediately. Our single-origin selections shine through V60's clean, transparent profile — the floral elegance of Ethiopian lots and the bright acidity of Kenyan coffees come through with remarkable clarity in every pour.
V60 grind is fine enough to be vulnerable to rapid aroma loss. Transfer to an airtight container the moment you open the bag.
The freshness window for V60-ground coffee is about 3 weeks. Consuming within this period guarantees the best flavour.
92-96 °C is the sweet spot for V60. Boiling water scorches the grounds; too cool and extraction falls short.
“If you want a daily pour-over ritual without the grinding step, a 1 kg V60-ground bag is a lifesaver. Our ground-to-order process means you still get that freshness difference in every cup.”— Fuga Coffee Brewing Team
